Andy Zakeli is an Australian based
photographer and photography teacher for hire.
With
over 20 years experience in photography, Andy has
worked in Sydney, London and New York covering
international news and sporting assignments,
photographed Africa, Asia and South America and
recorded events throughout the South Pacific
region. Since being established in 2000, zakphoto
has become a specialised supplier of images for
corporate, commercial and personal assignments for
web publishing, advertising and editorial content.
Photographer Andy Zakeli began his photographic
career in 1990 with the
Illawarra Mercury Newspaper in
Australia as a cadet press photographer before
working in England, Europe and the U.S.A as a
Press Photographer and Paparazzo. Andy has
worked with Fairfax Media Australia since 1990 and
has been assigned to Olympics and
Commonwealth Games events, National
visits including the Pope, Royals and heads of state
along with major National and International
assignments. From 2003-2005, Andy was the Queensland
based photographer with
Fairfax Media
covering the south pacific region.

continues to forge a reliable reputation with a
practical photographic knowledge and experience in
all forms of photography. Client works range from
family portraits, corporate promotions, editorial
content, wedding events, travel archives and extreme
assignments.
In 2010 zakphoto
launched the "learn" link with photography classes
for all photographers. As a part time photography
teacher at the TAFE Illawarra Institute along with
being a working photographer, Andy has expanded
zakphoto into teaching the finer aspects of
photography to beginners, amateurs and professionals
.
Andy Zakeli is currently based in Australia as a
staff photographer with Fairfax Newspapers and a
part time photography teacher with TAFE NSW. as well
as hosting photographic courses for aspiring
photographers
